First journal entry, I've only just joined Deviant Art, and Ive found it great so far. So many talented and helpful people
I need to put some new work up, even though I do paint, i want to concerntrate on photography.

I hope to get a new camera, a decent SLR, sometime in the next 3-6 months, depending on how much I can will myself to save

Does anyone have any tips about buying your first decent camera... like things to look for? Or models?
Any feed back would be awesome.

Its coming up to winter in australia right now, which means for me awesome pastel sunsets, and other coolness

Going to Tasmania in a few months, which will be great for photography I think, with all the old buildings and forests, so I cant wait for that.
